#1 La Grande Plage in Les Sables d'Olonne
With 4km of fine sand, the Grande Plage des Sables d'Olonne is the place to be during your holiday in the Vendée. There are no rocks and the water is crystal clear. It is the best place to come with small children who can spend all their time playing and making sandcastles. From this beach, you can easily access a few bars for a refreshing drink with your feet in the sand. You can also enjoy all the necessary amenities on its embankment: restaurants, snack bars, shops, bars, ice cream parlours... You can easily spend a whole day here without noticing.
#2 La Paracou Beach in La Chaume
The Paracou beach is wild and totally preserved. At low tide, children can enjoy the natural paddling pools. You can also go shrimp or crab fishing with them thanks to the many rocks and caves. Before entering the beach, you will find an ice cream parlour and a hut where you can buy drinks and snacks of all kinds, with exotic flavours!
#3 Veillon beach in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire
Veillon beach is a beach that combines two landscapes: forest and ocean. It is a very large beach where you and your children can take surf lessons in the morning. On-site, you will find a bar/restaurant and a snack offer available at any time of the day. This island-like beach is transformed when the sea rises. It is an ideal place for sunset picnics...
#4 Sauveterre Beach in Olonne sur Mer
Sauveterre beach is a well-known surf spot in the Vendée. You can take lessons or practise your favourite sport in front of the wild dunes. These dunes give an inescapable charm to this place, making you dive into another destination than Sables d'Olonne. This beach is hidden in the heart of a forest, but is still easily accessible for all those who want to discover it. The good news, pets are allowed on this beach, but must be kept on a lead.

#5 La plage des Dames in Noirmoutier
Take a trip to Noirmoutier and discover one of the most beautiful beaches in the Vendée. The particularity of this beach is that you will find many beach huts facing the sea. This beach with its pine forest scenery makes it an exceptional and very popular place on the island of Noirmoutier. We therefore advise you to spend a few hours there in the morning or at the end of the day. This postcard landscape is close to amenities such as bars and restaurants.
