La Chapelle d'Abondance is the perfect place for cross-country skiers. Vallée d'Abondance has no less than 25 kilometres of cross-country trails and offers 9 different routes with varying degrees of difficulty. All routes run along the river Dranse and are spread across the villages of Abondance, La Chapelle d'Abondance and Châtel. In addition to cross-country skiing, Chapelle d'Abondance also offers good paragliding - the view from the air is breath-taking. There is also a toboggan run and you can take a ride on the dog sled.

In the summer, there is also plenty to do in La Chapelle d'Abondance. The mountain village is about an hour's drive from the famous Lake Geneva. Here you can swim and enjoy the beautiful nature. Furthermore, the area around the village is perfect for mountain bike tours and challenging hikes. Looking for even more excitement? Then go rafting on the river or climb the mountains with a guide. The village has a good gastronomy with several restaurants and bars where you can go for a delicious lunch or dinner.
